Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari's visit to China from 11th to 15th, April, aim at securing greater support from Beijing for the development of Nigeria’s infrastructure, especially in the power, roads, railways, aviation, water supply and housing sectors.
President Buhari’s talks with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples’ Congress, Zhang Dejiang will also focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in line with the Federal Government’s agenda for the rapid diversification of the Nigerian economy, with emphasis on agriculture and solid minerals development.
In Nigeria,the most important is the oil and agriculture.This time, they focus on developing agriculture,just take cassava as an example, Nigeria is the largest country of cassava, cassava can be processed in to cassava flour, cassava starch and garri etc.
With the strong support of government, it will be beneficial to build a cassava process factory. Also,the government will offer some assistance of funds or subsidies.From China government, they will offer technical support , funds support and cassava process equipment support with best price.
So in future, cassava processing will be a most part in Nigeria agriculture.
