Cassava (manioc) is often pounded to a pulp, by hand (with mortar and pestle) or with a heavy stone roller, then dried on drying racks. After it is dry it is then ground into flour with a hand or powered mill. In industrial production , the cassava flour is always drying by the cassava flour dryer (see above picture) . The cassava starch dryer can dry the wet cassava flour to dry cassava flour in short time.
